“Investing in Trees, Now and into the Future”- Kathleen Alexander, City Forester, Boulder Parks and Recreation and Elizabeth Judd, Landscape Architect, City of Boulder

When budgets are limited, it can be challenging to maintain existing trees while planning for a healthier urban canopy. Learn from City of Boulder experts about how they approach issues such as Emerald Ash Borer, limited water scenarios and long range planning. Gain insight in how to care for the most valuable plants in the landscape while creating a future where trees are an integral part of our communities.

We’ll also provide an update on our water supply and 2018 rebates. There will be free coffee and pastries available in the morning.

Colorado Springs Utilities is offering this free educational opportunity to ensure the green industry professionals in our community have access to the information they need to wisely steward our precious water resources.
