2015 Watershed Summit

  • Wednesday, January 21, 2015
  • Plaza Event Center, 1900 Ken Pratt Blvd., Longmont, CO 80501

Water is a key and complex resource with many local concerns. The Boulder County Consortium of Cities, in conjunction with Boulder County, would like to formally invite you to attend the 2015 Watershed Summit. This event builds on a three year collaborative effort in Boulder County that helped identify gaps, strategies and innovative solutions related to water planning. From the connection between water and energy to the water quality in streams, water touches all our lives. By bringing together groups like water utilities, educators, public officials, the agriculture community, water experts and sustainability representatives, the Watershed Summit is intended to enhance the dialogue around local water. Please join us for a series of panel discussions from 8:00am - 4:30pm on January 21, 2015 at the Plaza Event Center, 1900 Ken Pratt Blvd., Longmont, CO 80501. Afterwards, make the short trip over to the Left Hand Brewery Tap Room from 5:00pm - 8:00pm for a networking event which includes a short talk from Colorado author, photographer and filmmaker Jon Waterman about his epic journey down the Colorado River. The first 175 people who register for the day event will not only get free lunch but also receive a free wood fired oven pizza and a Left Hand beverage for dinner at the evening networking event.
